This September, NC REALTORS will gather at Pinehurst, “America’s first golf resort” for our annual convention. Are you arriving early? Are you staying later? Need a break in between sessions? - Explore the Village of Pinehurst
The timeless Village of Pinehurst is within walking distance from the Carolina Hotel. Enjoy boutiques, restaurants, walking tours, carriage rides, historic homes and more.
- Grab a beer
Celebrate with a round of craft beer from these three local breweries:
- Railhouse Brewery
- Southern Pines Brewing
- The Pinehurst Brewing Company– this brewery is within walking distance from the historic Village of Pinehurst
- Antique Shops
Looking for vintage flair? Take a short drive to Cameron where the main street is lined with antique shops. Keep the retro theme going with lunch at the Dewberry Deli, a re-creation of a vintage drugstore.
- Embrace the great outdoors
The Arboretum, 35 acres, is a few blocks from the Village of Pinehurst and has great nature trails and walking paths. Stop by Resort Services in the Carolina Hotel to check out a bike at no charge.
- Historic Sites
Go back in time with these historic sites:
- James Boyd House
- Malcolm Blue Farm
- The Sandhills Woman’s Exchange is located in the heart of the Village of Pinehurst. This log cabin was built in 1810, soak in the rich history over lunch.
